NEWS EVENTS: 26th March: Great news for Newport that the £100m Friars walk shopping plan has been approved. Back in 2009 an even more ambitious £200m development was scrapped, however the new plan will still have a significant and positive impact on the citys retail credibility, that's good news for South Wales and great news for Newport!. more..
